Last week’s coven meeting was powerful for me.
We did a quick trance to go down to meet a deity to find out more about our future work. Instead of meeting a deity, I was approached by a shapeshifter taking the forms of Disney villainesses: Maleficent, the Queen of Hearts, the Evil Queen from Snow White.
She shifted through all of these forms and back again rather rapidly as we walked into the forest, toward a small cottage with a bubbling cauldron in the yard. The cottage felt peaceful and happy but also filled with potent magic.
The being indicated that this was where I was to live, and then handed me a poison apple, a gift for me and those that work with me. She then whispered in my ear, “If the work doesn’t kill them, it won’t transform them.”
I have been sitting with that powerful truth, knowing that this is my next step, wondering how it is going to unfold, knowing that my work is taking on a new form. It feels exciting and a bit terrifying…
much like that cottage in the woods…
much like the first bite of the apple.

AIN’T THAT THE TRUTH?

This sounds very much like a faery queen Spirit/deity I’ve been working for last five years. the first year, I remember She was costantly coming across with Vampire Snow White and poison imagery – the poison apple in particular was a term and asymbol that costantly returned… And there was the recurring theme of Her showing herself as the poisoner, the poisoned and the force of alchemical poison ( whose vessel was always visualized as the apple or the cup )… And over time I came to associate her with the Queen Of Hearts too, especially in her summery aspects, mainly because She seems to be linked to the concept of Love as an intoxicating poison that eventually kills and recreates in its wake…and à wintery aspect linked to purification through misfortune/vengeance/pain ( hence strong imagery of hearts either bleeding or broken or outpouring with poison in her dainty hands).
so reading this account gave me pleasant chills of rememberance. if its actually Her, you are in for an exciting ride! Cheers !
